Updated: Oct 4
Quick answer: A Doraemon theme birthday uses sky blue, white, red and yellow décor, a pink 'Anywhere Door' photo frame, bell and gadget props, and fun activity games. It suits ages 3 to 9. Birthday Bazaar sets up full Doraemon theme décor across Delhi NCR from ₹11,000.
Doraemon has been a favourite in Indian homes for years, and children never seem to outgrow the blue robot cat with a pocket full of gadgets. A Doraemon party is playful, colourful and full of 'what if' fun, which makes it one of the easiest themes to bring to life. Here are the questions parents ask us most.
What is a Doraemon theme birthday party?
It is a birthday styled around Doraemon and his friends: a big sky-blue backdrop, white and red accents, a golden bell, and playful gadget props like the famous pink door that can take you anywhere and the little head-propeller for flying. The mood is cheerful and slightly magical, perfect for curious children who love gadgets and adventures.
What age is a Doraemon theme best for?
Doraemon works best for ages 3 to 9. Younger children love the bright colours and the round, friendly character, while 6 to 9 year olds enjoy the gadget games and the adventure angle. It is a great choice for joint parties of siblings of different ages, and it suits both boys and girls.
What colours go with a Doraemon theme?
The core palette is sky blue and white, with red (Doraemon's collar), yellow (his bell) and a pop of pink for the famous door. Blue and white balloon garlands with red and yellow accents instantly say Doraemon without needing too many cutouts.
What is included in a Doraemon theme decoration?
A complete Doraemon setup from Birthday Bazaar is designed as one story, from the entrance to the cake table. It usually includes:
Stage backdrop in sky blue with the character world and your child's name.
'Anywhere Door' photo frame, a pink door that guests step through for photos, always the most popular spot.
Gadget props such as a giant bell, a head-propeller and a magic pocket for gifts.
Blue and white balloon garlands with red and yellow accents and a foil number.
Cake table with a blue themed skirt and props.
Entrance welcome board with your child's photo.
Optional: an inflated suit character in matching colours.

What food and cake ideas go with a Doraemon theme?

A blue-and-white cake with a bell topper, ordered by you and styled by us.
Pizza station, popcorn and a chocolate fountain for the kids.
Live chaat and a full dinner for adults.
How do I make a Doraemon party feel interactive?
Doraemon is all about gadgets, so turn them into activities. Children remember doing things more than looking at décor.
Hide return gifts in a big 'magic pocket' for the lucky dip.
Make the pink door the entrance, so every guest walks through it.
Give each child a small 'gadget' on arrival, like a bubble wand or whistle.
End with a magic show, the ultimate gadget trick.
Can I do a Doraemon party at home, in a clubhouse or a banquet hall?
Yes, all three work. At home, we fit a compact Doraemon backdrop and cake table to your living-room wall, ideal for 15 to 25 guests. In a society clubhouse, everything stands on free-standing frames with no tape on walls, and we set up within your slot. In a banquet hall, the theme can go big, with an entrance arch, ceiling décor, a photo corner and a DJ once dinner opens. Our team arrives about 4 hours before the party.
