Case Study: A 25th Anniversary Party for 200 Guests at ATS Advantage, Indirapuram
Updated: Oct 1
On 1st September 2026 we handled a silver jubilee wedding anniversary at ATS Advantage in Indirapuram — 200 guests, veg and non-veg catering, balloon decoration, a custom stage, and a live music act. It was one of the larger events we've delivered this year, and a useful illustration of how an adult celebration differs from the kids' parties we're better known for.
A 25th Anniversary Is Not a Birthday
The instinct with a big anniversary is to scale up a birthday setup. That's the wrong approach. A silver jubilee crowd is largely adults, often with three generations present, and they stay longer than a children's party crowd — which changes almost every decision.
Food has to hold quality across a longer service window rather than a sharp two-hour peak. The decor needs to read as elegant rather than playful. And you need a focal point for speeches and the couple's moment, which is why the stage mattered here more than any single decorative element.
The Venue: ATS Advantage, Indirapuram
ATS Advantage is a residential society in Indirapuram, and 200 guests is a serious load for a society venue. Parking, lift access for load-in, and a setup window that doesn't disrupt residents all have to be planned rather than improvised. Indirapuram is an area we work in regularly, which meant we could schedule the build with realistic timings instead of optimistic ones.
The Catering: 200 Guests, Veg and Non-Veg
A mixed menu for a group this size means running two service lines properly rather than treating non-veg as an afterthought. The dishes that drew the most comment:
Paneer lababdar
Golgappe counter
Tikki chaat counter
Mutton curry
Chicken biryani
The live chaat counters — golgappe and tikki — did a lot of work beyond the food itself. At a long adult event, a live counter gives guests somewhere to gather and something to do between the formal moments, which keeps the room moving rather than seated and waiting.
Mutton curry and chicken biryani are the two dishes most likely to expose a caterer at 200 covers. Both hold or fail depending on batch management, and the feedback on both was strong.
Decoration and Stage
We built the stage and handled the balloon decoration. For an anniversary the stage is the anchor of the whole room — it's where the couple is photographed, where the cake moment happens, and where guests look during speeches. The balloon work was styled around it rather than competing with it.
The decor drew heavy compliments on the night, which for an adult event means it hit the right register: celebratory without tipping into children's-party territory.
Live Music
A live singer, rather than a DJ, was the right call for this crowd. The performance was very well received. For a silver jubilee with a wide age range in the room, live music tends to land better than a DJ set — it works as something to listen to as well as dance to, and it suits the tone of the occasion.
