Choosing the right farmhouse
Guest count and layout: check the lawn can hold your guests with space for a stage, dance floor, dining and a children's zone. Ask for the usable area, not just the total plot.
What is included: some farmhouses include tents, chairs, power backup and washrooms; others give you an empty lawn. Knowing this changes your budget.
Outside vendors: confirm the farmhouse allows outside décor, catering and a DJ. Most do, but some have tie-ups.
Timings and music: check the latest time amplified music is allowed and whether there are extra charges beyond it.
Access and parking: plan for guest cars and for our vehicles to reach the setup area.
Covered backup space: a hall or large tent is essential if rain is possible.
You book the farmhouse and take any permissions. We work with whatever the farmhouse provides and fill in everything else.
Décor and lighting on a lawn
A lawn is a blank canvas, and lighting does most of the work after dark. We start with an entrance, usually a canopy passage or floral arch, then build a stage with a backdrop in your theme, a lounge area with sofas, dining with covered tables, and a photo spot or two. Fairy lights in the trees, hanging lanterns over the dining area and warm uplights on the stage turn the whole lawn into a set.

Live catering on the lawn
Farmhouse parties are judged on food, and fresh is everything. Our chefs cook live on site for most events, with veg catering from ₹699 per plate and non-veg from ₹899. Live counters work especially well outdoors: a tandoor, chaat, dosa, pasta, a mocktail bar and a chocolate fountain for dessert. For large guest lists we set up multiple counters so queues move quickly.
Weather and seasons
October to March is farmhouse season in Delhi, with cool evenings perfect for lawns. December and January nights get cold, so plan patio heaters or bonfire corners, and a warm welcome drink. From April the days get hot, so evening-only events, more shade and fewer latex balloons are the rule. During the monsoon, a covered hall or large tent is essential, and we plan the layout so the party can move under cover quickly.
A sample farmhouse timeline
1:00 pm: our team arrives and begins setting up décor, lighting, stage and kitchen.
6:30 pm: final walk-through with you and photos of the setup.
7:00 pm: guests arrive to welcome drinks and live snack counters.
8:00 pm: grand entry, stage moment and cake cutting with cold pyro.
8:30 pm: dinner opens and the DJ starts the dance floor.
11:00 pm: the party winds down within the farmhouse's music timings, and we begin clearing.
Large farmhouse setups need more time than a clubhouse party, so we usually arrive earlier in the day. We agree exact timings with the farmhouse in advance.
Safety and comfort
Every staff member is verified and backup staff are on standby. We keep cables covered on walkways, weight all frames against wind, light paths and steps, keep cold pyro and the kitchen well away from guests and fabric, and supervise children's activities throughout. For elderly guests we plan seating close to the stage, with easy access to washrooms and food.

Keeping costs sensible
Farmhouse parties can get expensive quickly, but a few choices make a big difference. Use the farmhouse's existing lighting and trees as part of the décor, focus spending on the stage and entrance that appear in every photo, keep the menu tight with two or three excellent live counters instead of ten average ones, and share one DJ and dance floor rather than multiple entertainment zones.
