Where a ₹40,000 budget goes
For a 50-guest party, food is the biggest cost by far. Here is one way the numbers can work using our standard rates:
Veg catering, 50 plates at ₹699: ₹34,950
Balloon decoration (entrance and stage): from ₹5,000
Total: about ₹39,950
Every Birthday Bazaar quote is custom, so your mix can be different. Add or remove items and the plan is re-priced for you upfront, with no hidden charges.
Money-saving move 1: Put decoration where the cameras are
Instead of decorating every wall, this party focused the balloon work on three spots guests actually photograph: the entrance, the stage and a photo corner.
Budget tip: Balloon decoration starts at ₹5,000, while full theme decoration starts at ₹11,000. For a smaller guest list, a strong entrance and stage give you most of the look for far less.
Money-saving move 2: Let the venue do half the work
The banquet hall already had clean tables and chairs, so the decoration only needed small balloon touches on the tables and ceiling to tie the room to the theme.
Budget tip: We set up at any venue you choose. Picking a hall or clubhouse that already looks neat means you spend on the party, not on covering up the room.
Money-saving move 3: Choose the menu, not the number of counters
Dinner was served buffet style from a single long counter. Guests served themselves, so the evening needed fewer service staff and less space.
Budget tip: Our veg menu is ₹699 per plate and non-veg is ₹899. For 50 guests, choosing veg saves ₹10,000, which is often the difference between staying inside ₹40,000 and going over.
Where not to cut: the fun
A DJ and a dance floor turned a dinner into a party. Once the music started, it was hard to get anyone to sit down.
